RAK 2018 License Round

Ras Al Khaimah Offshore and Onshore Acreage are currently unlicensed. Building on legacy work and studies, RAK Gas reviewed the offshore and onshore subsurface potential, using Play Based Exploration (PBE), to build a rejuvenated Exploration Portfolio. RAK Gas has committed to organise a License Round for its entire offshore and Onshore concessions in 2018, to allow prospective companies bid for acreage.

RAK complex geology creates diverse Exploration opportunities, with both Proven (analogous to Cretaceous Carbonates in Saleh field) and Speculative prospects.

To help further polarize prospectivity in its offshore acreage, RAK Gas is planning to acquire a large blanket broadband seismic 3D.

RAK 2018 License Round Process

RAK 2018 License will open on January 1st, 2018
Data Rooms will be open in Ras Al Khaimah and London.
